KARMA SUTRA
‘Hope keeps me going’
DARSHANA CHATURVEDI
What is your mantra of success?
I strongly believe that success is a result of hard work coupled with faith in one’s effort and god. One should work with full dedication and devotion to get favourable results. Half hearted attempts never pay well.
What is your philosophy of life?
I take life as it comes. Whatever happens I accept it graciously. Instead of complicating things I try to make things simpler. As we live in a society many things that happen are a result of our own actions. So the best thing is not to blame others. I also believe whatever happens, happens for good.
What does work mean to you?
Work means everything to me. I live alone in the city so the only thing I look forward to are my assignments. Sculpting is my life and so I try to do full justice to it.
What keeps you going?
Hope is the flame that keeps my going. As a professional I look forward to succeed in my endeavours. My work gives me an opportunity to meet new people and most of the time I end up learning interesting things from them. My family and friends motivate me whenever I am feeling low.
How do you unwind?
As an artist, music is my companion. While I am working I listen to soft music. After a long day at work I like to watch movies or just surf through the television. Once in a while I like to pick up a good book on art and read it to get new ideas.
